Project Manager
Holds BSc Engineering Civil & Building, Dip Engineering Civil & Building, Kyambogo University. He has over 7 years experience in the construction industry.
His core duties include field implementation of building works straight from design stage up to finishing stage, management of different work forces on site, preparation of detailed reports and project cost tracking and other activities th a t lead to achievement of project activities.
Site Engineer
Holds BSc Eng. Civil & Building, Kyambogo University and National Diploma in Architecture of Uganda Technical College, Bushenyi. 5 years experience in overall Site Management Co-ordination, supervision of technical aspects of construction projects, solving technical issues, identifying, developing and implementation of regulations, processes, methodologies and systems for the effective management of the project. Providing advice and preparing management reports.
General Foreman
Holds Dip Civil & Building Engineering of Kyambogo University. He has over 7 year’ experience as a Foreman. His key site responsibilities are: day to day superintendence of the works, supervision of the setting out of the works, preparation of monthly progress reports and payment certificates. Monitoring quality on site and this includes quality control of concrete, proper placement of embedded parts, formwork, steel bars and production of As Built Drawings
Mechanical Engineer
Holds a BSc Eng Automotive & Power, Kyambogo University. He's also a student member of Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers. Has over 5 yrs experience in installation of mechanical related systems, in charge of designing and implementing equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability, investigating and testing ideas to improve existing systems or to overcome machinery problems and making parts, installing and testing machinery. He is also in charge of all requisitions of all spares and equipment required in installation of mechanical systems.
Water Engineer
Dip Water Engineering, Kyambogo University. His major roles on the site are Interpreting water drawings at the site, supervising daily water works, Quoting and calculating materials needed on the site, preparing site daily reports, conducting water resource planning and concept advancements, Producing technical and design calculation reports for project management review. Overseeingengineering projectplan “preparation in coordination with professionals, Assist in obtaining appropriate water resourcesofficial permits.
Electrical Engineer
Holds Dip Electrical Engineering, Kyambogo University. 3 years experience and his key duties on the site include; day to day super intendence of the electrical works, Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltometers, and to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Environmental Officer
Holds a BSc Civil Engineering. He works as our Environmental Officer as well. His key responsibilities on the site include: Collection of Environmental baseline information and prepa rati on of Environmental Project Brief, Preparation of Environmental and Monitoring Plan for ongoing road construction works, Inspection of the site to ensure it is a hazard -free environment, promote safe practices at the job site, Enforce safety guidelines. Establishment of safety standards and policies as needed, watching out for the safety of all wor kers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations and respond to employees’ safety concerns.
Health & Safety Officer
Holds a Dip Eng Civil and Building, Uganda Technical College Elgon. 3 yrs experience as an on site health and safety officer. His key duties include: Inspection of the site to ensure it's a hazard environment, Conduct toolbox meetings. He's part of the project safety council and leads all efforts to enhance safety review and approve all subcontractor’s safety plans, verify that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government agencies, verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
Quantity Surveyor
Holds BSc Quantity Surveying, Makerere University. Has over 3 yrS experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Her on site duties include: Presenting detailed information on the cost of particular elements of work on a periodic basis to enable payment for those works carried out to date, dealing with contractual and legal matters, managing costs to make sure that the initial budget isn’t exceeded
Arranging staff payments and at the end of a job, settling the final accounts.
